Vision statement

To empower cross-cultural understanding of the gospel  by combining narrative with art.

Examples include

a.  Empower Christian national artists from Iran, Azerbaijan, Russia and other nations through facilitating their own translation of publications

b.  To connect testimonies and life experiences to the bible enabling such stories to accelerate the gospel message

c. To facilitate small groups amongst those outside the church where they readily engage with the visual – example – “bringing order out of chaos” blog

d. Supporting church planting initiatives with resources

e. Use of books as personal devotionals for adults, youth and children.

f. Use of book images as posters in coffee shops

The purpose for the book is to use the combined creativity of art and narrative to communicate the message of the gospel to all generations. Jesus used parables and stories to gain the attention of listeners and so we hope the modern day equivalent will communicate.

We are launching the book cross-culturally, throughout the world, empowering local national artists and translators aiming to strengthen the church.

Currently the book is being used by

1. Individuals as a daily devotional

2. Small groups combining christians and

those who are curious about faith

3. Those who describe themselves as “atheists/seekers/spiritual”. Reading and seeing art speaking practically about Jesus

4. Parents who wish to read the stories in the book to their children

God’s Human Email

Throughout church history, illustrating and applying the bible to the present day has been a vital part of relevant gospel presentation. In this beautifully illustrated devotional book, Jon Gledhill and Isabel Watson provide rich portraits from our modern daily life with deep spiritual truths, illustrating and applying God’s word in a way that will leave readers helped and hope-filled.
Regan King, Pastor of The Angel Church, Islington, London

It’s such a joy to see God leading both Jon and Isabel to finish this first book. The blogs and paintings carry simple biblical truth envisaged in current settings so that even children can understand them. Simply turn to any page, look at the picture, read and narrate, it will enable you to praise God and relate with others.
